RECENTLY I criticised the way Michelin awards its stars to restaurants in Scotland - or rather doesn't. For instance, The Three Chimneys on Skye has been one of the finest restaurants in Britain for two decades, but it hasn't a star because Michelin won't go anywhere off the main roads....
Amid much worthy competition on bustling Thistle Street, this sophisticated little eatery is regularly to be found fully booked on a weekday evening. It's easy to see why.
