Our cuisine is modern, taken from contemporary Thai cooking, along with new flavours in more traditional dishes. The restaurant decor is informal, relaxing and features unusual pieces from students of art in Bangkok.
Dusit was opened in 2002 by Pom and his team, to great accolades in the local and national press. Pom, originally from Bangkok, worked at the high end of the food and catering industry in the UK for twenty years before developing the Dusit concept. The Dusit team has built an enviable reputation based on fantastic food, attentive service and relaxed ambience.
The cuisine is contemporary Thai, using the best fresh local produce, combined with herbs, spices and Asian vegetables imported from Thailand. This has led to Dusit being recognised as one of the top Thai restaurants in the country. Dusit consistently receives great reviews and has without fail featured in the Hit List of the definitive guide to eating out in Edinburgh, The List, as well as being awarded much coveted Ticks in Pete Irvine’s authoritative book, Scotland the Best.

Lunch 12.00 noon – 3.00 pm
Dinner 6.00 pm – 11.00 pm.
Sunday: All day 12.00 noon – 11.00 pm.
We offer a Take Away Food service from the main menu, but regret that we are unable to deliver. You can order in advance by telephone for collection later. A discount of 12½ % is applied to the prices from the A la Carte menu for Take Away.
